"Human plans, no matter how wise or well advised, cannot stand against the Lord." Proverbs 21:30
How does that grab you? I guess it depends on who you are. If you're the one making the plans then you've just been reminded that you are human. If so, then don't bother to make plans that try to stand against the Lord, right? You'll basically be wasting your time.
If you love the Lord and happen to be the one having "not so good" plans formulated against you--don't worry. He's got you covered. Just stay under His umbrella, watch and pray. Pray for yourself and for the "plan maker".
Whew! That's a relief.

As I grow in my relationship with the Lord I have come to realize that I may have my plans, but God has His in my life, and He is the one to have his way in the end. The yielding to His way and not my own is the challenge. Although I believe with all my heart and my mind does tell me that God "has my back" and knows the best for me, I still struggle sometimes with having it "my way". I must remember to pray each day for God to direct my steps into his plans for my life and not my own. His plans, as the Bible says, are to prosper me, and to complete a good work in me. I pray for each and everyone of us to allow the Lord to direct our lives, to trust him with our lives. I also pray that when others seem to come against us with their plans for our lives, that we trust the Lord with those situations and pray for those that seem to be our enemies. Hope everyone is having a "prayerful" week, and a week filled with God's plans not our own. Bless you all.
